Vlad and Ingrid join forces to capture the Shapeshifter, but since she can assume the physical appearance of anybody, they are initially at a loss as to know who she is. As bait for Elizabeta, they capture and torture Malik to force her to show herself; banking on the fact that even the most twisted of mothers still care about their young.
